Arm in Arm

Scripture
Genesis 5:24a
And Enoch walked with God

Observation
I am only focusing on the first half of this scripture but I feel it really has punch. Walking with God. The God of the Universe. The God who created me. The God who has every hair on my head numbered. Wow! Incredible. I remember walking arm and arm with my mother as a little girl. It is such a special memory and something that I wish I could do again.

Application
God is walking with me- besides me- am I aware of His presence, His care and His love?

Prayer
Lord, thank you for your precious gift of salvation! I am so thankful that you choose to walk with me daily and you have such patience with me. To think that you are the Creator of the universe that you walk with me is so LOFTY and I cannot fathom it! That you actually care for me is so incredible. Help me to keep you in the forefront of my memory and to know that through every situation that you are there. Arm in Arm.


Psalm 8

1 LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

2Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

3When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

4What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

5For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

6Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

7All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

8The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

9O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth
